Professional Fees
As affordable Canadian Immigration Consultants, at Cooper's Immigration we like to be forthright when it comes to payments, and we understand that our clients deserve to receive value for their money. We will provide you with a quote outlining all of the services to be provided and included in our professional fee. You will not have any surprises along the way!
All of our professional fees are subject to Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13% unless you located outside of Canada in which case the tax rate will be zero.
Most applications have a government fee associated with them, this is not included in the professional fees and the government fees vary depending on the type of application that you apply under.
When we present you with our Retainer Agreement we will clearly outline our Professional Fees as well as the Government Fees and any other costs that you may want to plan for such as medical examinations, translation of documents, english testing, police clearances, courier of documents etc., This will allow you to financially plan ahead for all costs involved.

What our services do not cover
1. Government Fees
Canadian Government fees are usually paid in Canadian Dollars and vary according to application stream, type of application and family size. Usually fees are paid directly to IRCC via credit card online. All Government fees are paid by the client and are in addition to our retained service fees. The Government fees that you will be responsible for will be outlined in your Retainer Agreement and you are responsible for paying these fees.
2. Medical Assessment Fees
Residency applications and some work / study permits require medical examinations prior to visa issuance. We will provide you with the necessary instructions for this however the fee charged from the medical professional in your country you are responsible for.
3. Language Test Fees
Almost every application will require language tests and evaluations (IELTS) prior to submission. We will provide you with information and instruction for this however you are responsible to pay for these fees.
4. Educational Credential Assessments (ECA)
Most educational certification will need to be evaluated in Canada and the equivalent qualification supplied for immigration applications. This is essential for most applications. The cost of this is your responsibility.
5. Police Clearances
All applications will require that you apply for the necessary police clearances in your country of residence and you are responsible for the cost of such clearances.
6. Courier of International Documents
You will be required to send some of your documents to Canada in order to complete the Educational Credential Assessment and also for other reasons where required. You are responsible for the cost of all courier fees to Canada and from Canada to your country of Residence.
